Instructions of Battery for a player using a Crafter guitar fitted with a preamp and pickup

We Crafter recommend that you use a ‘9v Alkaline battery’.

To preserve battery life, unplug the cable from the guitar’s output jack when you are not amplifying your guitar.

If you continue to plug a cable into output jack, the preamp is switched on and the battery life is shorten.

The battery life of Manganese type is very short. Please avoid to use Manganese type battery. We recommend you to use a Alkaline battery.

If you use an old stock, ‘Low Batt’ turns on soon and the battery has a low voltage because of the short valid date. (9V ~ 9.5V is suitable on a voltage test machine)

Even if you don’t use a battery at all, the voltage goes down as time goes on.

If you place a battery on a low temperature for more than an year, it cannot output the rated voltage.

We Crafter recommend that you absolutely check the valid date written on a battery when you purchase it.
