Since 1972, Crafter Guitars has grown from a small basement workshop with nothing but a steadfast dedication to craftsmanship and a sincere passion for building well-crafted guitars. We have proudly demonstrated the quality and spirit of Korean acoustic guitars to the world. Every guitar we’ve made carries its own story. It all began in a humble basement, with one clear intention: to build a better guitar. What hasn’t changed in over 50 years is the heartfelt passion behind every guitar— and the craftsmanship that lives on in our hands.

Wood Story.

Since 1972, the Crafter team has built an extensive knowledge base around tonewoods—gathered through decades of research and experience. From natural drying process honed through Korea’s extreme seasonal climate to state-of-the-art humidity and temperature control systems, we’ve developed a proprietary process to enhance durability and minimize distortion. Our ongoing pursuit of premium woods from Africa, Europe, North America, and Hawaii is more than just sourcing—it reflects our philosophy from the very first step: that every great guitar begins with great wood.

Crafter guitars provide stable and balanced sound through their unique dovetail extension joints and bracing structures. With VVS technology and the DS-2 Pro⁺ preamp system, they deliver vintage tones, optimal output, and spatial depth, while the Stealth Tuner allows for easy tuning.
